STARTUP ZERO responds to the need for a circular economy program that focuses on making young people and companies aware of a principle of sustainability and fighting waste. It has a program rich in training actions aimed at understanding the circular economy, and how the concept can be applied to different parts of the economy, with economic and environmental results. Based on a strong partnership that integrates several actors that complement each other in the areas of knowledge and located in the North, Center and Alentejo, this is a project with characteristics that will allow transforming vision into action, demonstrating that sustainable growth is possible.
The transition to a Circular Economy brings significant challenges as it presupposes a redesign of all human activities that generate non-recoverable waste, but it also represents, currently, the best way to a sustainable future. STARTUP ZERO provides opportunities and resources for a better understanding and mastery of the Transition to a Circular Economy and its challenges to students, entrepreneurs and companies that wish to create, develop and validate ideas with transformative potential.
