The STARTUP ZERO ACCELERATION PROGRAM INTENDS TO INCREASE COMPETITIVENESS, IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES AT THE LEVEL OF CREATING NEW VALUE CHAINS, PROCESSES AND PRODUCTS, PROMOTING COOPERATION BETWEEN ENTREPRENEURS AND THE SCIENTIFIC TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT.
The STARTUP ZERO ACCELERATION PROGRAM, aims to empower entrepreneurs of replicable tools and methodologies for Circular Economics to enable them to stimulate their process of innovation, increasing the number of innovative products and services launched on the market, linked to the national scientific and technological system.
The program brings together a specialized business developers network that will help to connect with the market, proof of concept for validating ideas and business model, pitching in a closing session and awards for best projects.
ACCELERATION PROGRAM
Initiatives to encourage and support entrepreneurship, to the capacitation of entrepreneurial initiatives and the creation of new companies;
Stimulating mentoring and coaching initiatives to support the development of innovative ideas;
Stimulation of structuring projects to support entrepreneurship, involving infrastructures for incubation, acceleration and other entities of the entrepreneurship dynamic ecosystem.
The 15 best projects of the 1st and 2nd edition will have the opportunity to visit reference ecosystems, contact potential mentors and present their projects.
Each edition of the acceleration program culminates in a closing session. An opportunity that projects will have to present the final versions of the circular business models developed and which will consist of a pitching event (5 minutes per team) aimed at public and private investors, business angels, banking, community fund management entities of the project , other stakeholders, in order to give visibility to the innovations proposed by the finalist teams.
1 service voucher will be awarded to the 10 best innovations (5 in each edition), such as: consultancy in the areas of product development, intellectual property, technological consultancy, IT services or others with strategic value for each project (not convertible into cash).
The finalist projects of each edition of the STARTUP ZERO accelerator will have the opportunity to see associated with each project, a Mentor selected by the responsible entities, with relevant experience in the sector, type of business model, market or technology, for 4 months.
This activity pretends to increase the ability to overcome the challenges that arise after the start-up, helping to optimize the customer development and market entry processes, reducing the time between exit from the program and the first sale or first inflow of capital from investors.
